Full time Maintenance person

City of Ransom is looking for a full time city maintenance person. The hours are 8-4 during late fall and winter and 7-3 during late spring and summer. The job description includes (but is not limited to) maintenance on machinery, lift station, roads, reading water meters, and replacing meters, mowing, etc. Must be able to keep logs and fill out reports for the state on water and sewer. Applicants will be eligible for KPERS and PTO. We will base the pay on previous experience and certification. If not water/sewer certified, the city will pay for classes and testing to be done to become certified. The City of Ransom is an EOE.
